Les \u00e9crits de Jean de Joinville, qui chroniqua la Septi\u00e8me Croisade, ont \u00e9t\u00e9 utilis\u00e9s par l\u2019auteure pour mieux rapprocher le r\u00e9cit de la v\u00e9racit\u00e9
